Hi, My name is Patrick Auger, and I’m a 21 year old French Canadian from Quebec. I'm a proud owner of a '72 Mach 1 351C. I wanted to let you know that your website is amazing. In a certain way, your website played a role in my passion for the 71-73 Mustang and helped develop my interest in restoration. Around 1990, my uncle bought a C-code 429CJ Mach1. Since he and his son found your website, they really started to understand what they had and started to think seriously about restoring it. They did some research about the car and found that it is 1 of 10 with all the options combinations and 1 of 3 exported to Canada. Since then, they are now restoring the car to a level probably unequaled for a '71 Mach1 until now. Watching this restoration throughout these years really developed a passion for me about cars, especially 71-73 Mustangs. My uncle's Mach1 is on your website under the name of Francois and Roger Dumont, a Dark Green Metallic 429CJ. (editor: see below) (Note - click thumbnails to enlarge above photos)
The car is now on the rotisserie and will be completed we hope around late 2012 early 2013. Since I was 14 years old, I saved my money to buy a 71-73 Mustang ... and since my uncle is restoring his 1971 and his son bought a survivor 1973 351CJ Mach1, I bought a 1972 351C Mach1 and we're forming a great representative trio of the '' Big Mustangs '' here in Québec. And all the fun we have every year waiting for the summer to work on the cars and driving them started in a certain way because of your website. Continue your great work and here are some pictures of my 1972 Mach1 with completely matching numbers. It may not be a 1971 Cobra Jet but it would be really nice if you could put my car on your website. Thank You Pat (Note - click thumbnails to enlarge above photos)
